1. Using the Site
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order.
- You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit the use of the Site by anyone else.
- You must not use the Site to transmit viruses, worms, malware or any other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.
2. Products
- We sell greeting cards, art prints and related paper goods. Product images are provided for illustration. Colours may vary slightly between monitors, devices, and printed pieces — this is a normal feature of printing and screen display, not a defect.
- Small variations between individual handmade or hand-finished items are part of their character.
- All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
3. Orders and contract formation
- Placing an order on the Site constitutes an offer by you to purchase the products in your basket on these Terms.
- We will send an order confirmation email when you place your order. This confirms we have received your order; it does not form a contract.
- A contract of sale is formed only when we dispatch the goods to you. Until then, we may decline or cancel the order — for example, if the item is out of stock, if there is an error in the listed price or description, or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
- If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund the payment in full.
4. Prices and payment
- All prices are shown in euro (€) and [include / exclude] VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout before you complete your order.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent a dispatch confirmation.
- Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment provider (e.g. Stripe / PayPal). We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund.
5. Delivery
- We deliver within Ireland and the United Kingdom. Delivery times and costs are set out on the Shipping page.
- Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. Delays by An Post or international carriers are outside our control.
- Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you (or to a person nominated by you).
- For full details on delayed, damaged or missing deliveries, please see our Returns & Refunds Policy.
6. Returns, refunds and cancellation
Your rights to cancel, return and obtain a refund — including the EU 14-day cooling-off period — are set out in full in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
- All artwork, designs, images, text and other content on the Site are the intellectual property of Wild Meadow Press (or our licensors) and are protected by Irish and international copyright law.
- When you purchase a card or print, you are buying the physical item for personal, non-commercial use. You do not acquire any rights in the underlying artwork, design or copyright.
- You may not reproduce, copy, scan, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any artwork or content from the Site or from purchased items without our prior written permission.
8. User-generated content
If you submit a product review, comment or other content to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, edit, display and publish that content in connection with our business. You warrant that the content is yours, does not infringe any third party’s rights, and is not unlawful.
We may remove any content at our discretion.
9. Availability of the Site
- We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Site may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or events outside our control.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without liability.
10. Limitation of liability
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by Irish law.
- Subject to the above, our liability to you for any loss arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for the relevant goods.
- We will not be liable for indirect, consequential or purely economic loss, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, or loss of opportunity.
- This clause does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including postal strikes, adverse weather, fire, flood, pandemic, acts of government, or failure of telecommunications networks.
12. Privacy
Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Please review this page periodically.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any contract formed under them, are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. As a consumer you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the EU member state in which you reside.
You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr to resolve disputes out of court.
